30 Years and Still Full of Ideas
For 30 years, PLB has been a part of the Museums + Heritage Show. And we’re back again this year with even more energy, excitement and ideas to share! You’ll find Emily, Jamie, Jim, and Russell down at the Show, so make sure you say hello.
We’re not just here as event sponsor and to host Theatre 2; we’re here to connect, inspire and cheer on our fellow heritage professionals. From the Museum of London to the People’s History Museum in Manchester, this year’s line-up is packed with 70+ talks and 100+ speakers, including our own session on Hopetown, Darlington at 2pm on the Thursday (15th May). Don’t miss it!
And that’s not all, we’re also up for an award too. Fingers crossed for ‘Experiment! Hopetown, Darlington’ shortlisted for Best Use of Digital – UK. It’s a project we’re incredibly proud of and we can’t wait to get dressed up and celebrate with all the shortlisted finalists on the night
The team at PLB has always made a really positive contribution to the show, and we look forward to seeing them return every year.
Anna Preedy, Museums + Heritage Show Director
Why do we keep coming back? Because the Show is more than just an exhibition and open to promoting new trends, like PLB’s greener design initiative, working with us to develop a new Sustainability Award back in 2012. It’s where the sector still comes together to learn, share and have a bit of fun while we’re at it. And for us at PLB, that’s what it’s all about, giving back, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones.
