We are launching a new look website
PLB has been working with a wide range museum and heritage organisations since the early 1990’s and we have been represented by a mixture of logos and websites over the years. But we are changing and with a new brand launched at the MA Conference 2022, which represents the bringing together of our core values, we are now launching a new look website at this year’s conference. We have found that our website is a vital tool for demonstrating our expertise, showcasing our inhouse team, and engaging with potential clients.
It serves as a digital shopfront, and we believe its design and functionality should reflect the high standards and specialised nature of the work PLB undertakes. We commissioned specialist web developers Castlegate IT, who have worked on multiple digital projects within the heritage sector and whom we have a long-standing relationship, including being one of our delivery team.
They were briefed to provide a well-designed website catering to our museum and heritage clients that was fully accessible. The website is properly optimized, loads quickly, protects user data, is easy to navigate with an improved search facility. We think they have completed an amazing job and our new website reflects the professionalism, creativity and attention to detail, which are essential qualities in everything we do.
Clients can view past projects and assess the quality and relevance of the PLB’s work. There are detailed case studies that highlight our approach, expertise, and the impact of that our work has had. The new user-friendly design ensures that everyone can easily navigate the website and find the information they need, along with providing a hub for insights, sharing resources, reports, and publications related to heritage conservation and museum design.
A regularly updated blog section for insights keeps clients informed about our latest projects, achievements, and industry trends. This will link to our established social media platforms and we continue to post sector related content to ‘LinkedIn’ PLB Projects, ‘X’ @plbltd, ‘Instagram’ plbprojects and ‘facebook’ PLB Projects.
We want the website to tell our story as working with our clients for better engagement and a voice in the sector. The website offers the chance to also see PLB’s mission, our team’s values, and to build valued connections with clients and specialist suppliers.
