REMIX Summit 2019

Over a hundred culture, technology and entrepreneurs with a passion for culture descended on London for the annual REMIX Summit. With speakers and delegates from across the globe it created a powerful mix of networking and discussion, sharing thoughts on future trends and ideas for cultural organisational structure, funding and collaborations, to immersive tech, richer experiences and reaching audiences to better serve our local communities.

“There’s always a great buzz around the place” said Jamie, Creative Director here at PLB who attended the summit, “’follow the speaker’ with Andy from Magic Leap was such an experience my 20 year old self was only dreaming about”

PLB always like to be ahead of the curve where our museum clients’ digital offer is concerned. Hearing pioneering stories and discussing possible collaborations, to really enhance the visitor experience, always helps to drive our contemporary approach forwards. It was great to see PLB’s Charles Dickens Museum as one of London’s Knowledge Quarters’ key partners, alongside the likes of Google, and demonstrates the commercial value now associated with our heritage.
