We’re on the hunt for a standout Interpretive (3D) Designer & Visualiser.

As an Interpretive Designer at PLB, you will play a key role in developing and delivering imaginative, high-quality interpretation and exhibition design across heritage, museum and visitor experience projects. Working collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and external specialists, you will help translate stories, collections and ideas into engaging visitor experiences that inform, inspire and connect with diverse audiences.
You will support the design process from concept to delivery, producing creative, practical and sustainable design solutions. You will bring enthusiasm, curiosity and attention to detail to every stage of your work, contributing to PLB’s reputation for creativity, collaboration and excellence.
The successful individual will be challenge oriented and have the ability to spin a large amount of plates in the air at any one time. Personality-wise you should be open and engaging, a true creative, that is also process-driven.
- Full-time hours considered: 5 day week, 9 day fortnight or 4 day week.
- Salary: Dependent on experience
- Studio location: Central York (close to the Railway station), with parking and hybrid work practices [currently 3 days within the studio, 2 days remote working]
